Hello! I know, I’m a horrible person for leaving you guys hanging for so long.. trust me. A certain someone has basically told me I’ve ruined their last couple Sunday morning routine, not my intention at all! Sometimes life can get in the way and things we thought were extremely important get pushed on to the back burner.
Anyway! This weeks feature is slightly different BECAUSE you can actually stay in this home! Yuppppp that’s right gals and ghouls (P.S I’m still in the halloween vibe, so cram it Christmas music) this home is available on Airbnb.
Okay, okay, so my Canadian folk will have to travel to Australia.. but when has that EVER been a bad thing? Pretty sure they love us down there.. can anyone out there confirm this?
So this “Mongolia House” was built 3 years ago.. and is located in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia and will only set you back $1,649.00 a night CAD. Only… Right…(slight eye roll from readers). But this house has been featured in Australian Real Living Magazine in 2016, and in 8 interior design magazines across Europe.
So what does $1,649.00 a night get you? Well for one, you can spilt that total 8 ways!! Boo ya! There are 5 rooms, sleeps 8 with 3 bathrooms.
This getaway has a private back yard, equipped with a pool, a spa and of course and outdoor shower.
Maybe after a day of relaxation by the pool, you feel like cooking up a storm. Well check out this beautiful kitchen. With 5 counter height stools, you will have no problem finding subjects to taste test what ever it is your making. Once you’ve had enough help from the bar stool dwellers, serve it on that rustic farmhouse dining table. Do I even need to tell you to do a double take on those dining chairs / built in bench combo accessorized with those cushions? I hope not.
After dinner you can “rack ’em up” and play a little pool, or watch a movie on the 70″ T.V, or just chill and listen to music with the wireless built in Sonos system.
Here’s a bonus for you, there will be NO drawing straws for the master bathroom. Well, maybe there will be, but your chances are even better because there is TWO! But all 3 bathrooms are equally stunning!
Alright.. so I’m totally smitten with the interior of this home. The designer did such a great job on the furnishings as well as the finishes. Those timber beams have got me scrolling back and forth. Along with the contrast of white and black, and that pop of green I love so much. It’s perfectly cozy with the exposed brick with subtle hints of tropical mixed in a modern farmhouse.
Only down side… no parties.
How much are you guys diggin’ this spot?!
Thanks for reading!!
